In anti-migrant rhetoric, "alien" is often framed not simply as foreign, but as illegal, criminal or threatening. This film embraces alienness not as a condition of exclusion, but as a space of possibility: a way of reimagining identity beyond fixed borders, inherited categories and dominant languages.
